  • Limitations: The facility is open to Parsippany residents only and proof of residency is required whenever you enter the Recycling Center. Commercial waste is not accepted.

Chipboard/Paperboard (Recycling - Commingled Paper) Mixed paper consists of newspapers, magazines, junk mail, envelopes, telephone books, chipboard (cereal, pizza, gift boxes, etc.), soft cover books, and office paper.

Other Paper/Mag./JunkMail (Recycling - Commingled Paper) Mixed paper consists of newspapers, magazines, junk mail, envelopes, telephone books, chipboard (cereal, pizza, gift boxes, etc.), soft cover books, and office paper.

Acceptable Material - Recycling

Aluminum Containers (Recycling) Commingled recycling of all glass jars and bottles, all plastic bottles, all tin and aluminum containers and trays, and plastic bags. Empty and rinse all bottles, cans and containers
Batteries (Dry Cell) (Recycling) Rechargeable batteries only as alkalines are safe to place in the regular garbage. Make sure battery are individually wrapped or the terminals are taped to prevent electrical shorting and fires.
E-Waste - Computers, TVs, etc. (Recycling) No charge. Accepted electronics include only the following: computers, laptops, televisions, monitors, desktop printers and fax machines. All other electronic waste should be disposed of in the garbage as it is not covered by the E-waste law and program. No curbside collection available.
Fat & Lard (Recycling) Cooking oil is accepted to be poured into the provided container at the depot.
