Weighmaster-Transfer Station

Operates scale equipment by entering data into computerized scale or by reading or recording printed weights or manually subtracting tare weight from gross weight to obtain accurate load weights. Explain various procedures and requirements of facility and government regulations regarding load types, weights, billing procedures and so forth.

Requirements: Applicants must possess a current and valid certificate as a weighmaster issued by the New Jersey State Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Consumer Affairs, Office of the Superintendent of Weights and Measures.

Sanitation Driver

Seeking qualified individual to drive sanitation truck on specified routes to pick up recycling material. Responsibilities include completing route paperwork, reading town maps, keeping vehicle clean and performing minor repairs to truck.

Requirements: Must have CDL with Class B endorsement and one year experience in driving a truck with tandem/dual rear axles and a gross vehicle weight of at least 26,000 lbs. Applicants should be able to read and write English sufficiently enough to perform the duties of this position.


Clean, service, maintain, and repair water treatment plant pumps, valves, motors and other equipment. Adjust, regulate, and make major and minor repairs to chemical feed machines, chlorinators, meter indicators, flow meters and other mechanical equipment. Perform maintenance and repairs on the facility.

Experience: One year of varied experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of varied types of piping systems, motors, pumps, valves and metering devices.

Requirements: T1 and W1 licenses and valid driver's license required.
