MCMUA provides All-In-One Single-Stream recycling for the Washington Township recycling depot. For the safety of the recycling depot's laborers, containers must be 25 pounds or less. Materials not properly prepared will not be accepted. Leaves and brush acceptance for non-commercial residents with 2 acres or less property.Leaves and Brush is only acceopted between Sept. 1 and Dec. 1 each year. - Limitations: The Center is open to Washington Township residents unless otherwise advertised. For the Safety of the Staff. containers must be 35 pounds or LESS. Commercial and Institutional facilities may bring materials to the Center on the 1st Wednesdays of the month. No leaves or brush for commercial and/or instutional drop-off.

The trees will be shredded and wood chips are available for free at the same location as long the supply lasts. Residents have to load the wood chips on their trucks/vans. No pick up or delivery of trees or wood chips.
The disposal area is open seven days a week. NO ARTIFICIAL TREES ARE ACCEPTED.
A drop-off receptacle for the disposal of home electronics is now available at the Recycling Center. Accepted electronics include only the following: computers, laptops, televisions, monitors, desktop printers and fax machines. All other electronic waste should be disposed of in the garbage as it is not covered by the E-waste law and program. Absolutely no curbside collection.
