Acceptable Material - Recycling - Commingled Bottles and Cans

Aluminum Containers (Recycling - Commingled Bottles and Cans) Rinse and commingle with recyclables.
Glass Containers (Recycling - Commingled Bottles and Cans) Rinse and commingle with recyclables.
Polyboard/Drink Boxes (Recycling - Commingled Bottles and Cans) New for 2012, place in container with commingled glass, metal, and plastic jars, bottles and containers. Do not put in container with paper recyclables.

Batteries (Dry Cell) (Recycling) Rechargeable batteries only as alkalines are safe to place in the regular garbage. Make sure battery are individually wrapped or the terminals are taped to prevent electrical shorting and fires.
E-Waste - Computers, TVs, etc. (Recycling)

A drop-off receptacle for the disposal of home electronics is now available at the DPW Yard. Accepted electronics include only the following: computers, laptops, televisions, monitors, desktop printers and fax machines. All other electronic waste should be disposed of in the garbage as it is not covered by the E-waste law and program. Absolutely no curbside collection.

Telephone Books (Recycling) Telephone books are only accepted during certain times of the year.
Tires (Recycling) Accepted at office only for a cost of $3.00 per tire - no rims. Township residents only.
