Curbside Recycling Collection

  • Program Description: The Borough provides weekly residential dual-stream recycling collection. The yellow bin is for mixed paper (newspaper included) and the blue bin is for mixed containers. Lincoln Park offers 32-gallon and 20-gallon and 25-gallon recycling containers at cost.
  • Schedule: The Borough DPW collects recyclables every week in 3 routes. Recycling is picked up weekly (alternating weeks) for instance, one week commingled containers and the next week for commingled paper colelction.

Books (Hard Cover) (Recycling) Mix in yellow bin with other paper. Can also include soft cover books.

  • Notes: The Borough of Lincoln Park's Recycling Center is located on George Cobb Lane. George Cobb Lane is an extension of Main Street, which is located between the Train Station and Ace Hardware's Parking Lots.
  • Limitations: *** The Lincoln Park municipal recycling depot is for Lincoln Park residents only.*** The recyclable materials accepted must be separated from other solid waste and must conform to the regulations provided for each material. The are certain items that can not be taken to Lincoln Park's Recycling Center such as oil based paint, herbicides, transmission, brake and steering fluid, anti-freeze, pool chemicals, darkroom chemicals and small amounts of asbestos. These items can be disposed of through the Morris County Municipal Authorities Household Hazardous Waste Program
