Styrofoam/Polystyrene is typically unacceptable to include with other materials for recycling. To recycle Styrofoam/Polystyrene it usually needs to delivered to a site dedicated to accept separated and clean (no food debris) Styrofoam/Polystyrene. Unless one is willing to deliver the Styrofoam/Polystyrene to a dedicated facility, the standard option for discarding Styrofoam/Polystyrene is to dispose of it in the regular garbage.
